Fouls, bookings and cautions are a part of football, and come at varying regularity defending on the referees. Today, we take a look at which refs are more prone to brandish cards for fouls than the rest in the Absa Premiership.

The PSL is made up of several highly experienced referees who take on arguably one of the most difficult jobs in football. The referees that we take a look at today have been consistently harsh on players throughout the season, issuing more yellow cards than anyone else.
As for those that have taken out the red card more than any others, Victor Gomes tops the list with nine red cards in 2015/16 (four straight reds), while Zolile Mthetho and Phillip Tinyani have issued five (two straight reds) and four (one straight red), respectively.
