The Premier Soccer League have confirmed the prize money for the inaugural Carling Knockout.
The tournament officially gets underway next week, with Mamelodi Sundowns taking on TS Galaxy at the Mbombela Stadium.

There is a lot of money at stake for the teams competing, with the winner confirmed to take home a whopping R6.6 million.
That fee will go up to R6.8 million as there will be a R250 000 participation fee for each round.
In comparison, the winning team in the defunct Telkom Knockout only took home R4 million.
Full prize money (Including participation fee):
Winner: 6 850 000
