The Motsepe Foundation in conjunction with Sanlam have announced a massive R32 million partnership for the Kay Motsepe Schools Championship.
Now in its 20th year of existence, the Kay Motsepe Championship, named after the mother of CAF President Dr. Patrice Motsepe, has grown in leaps and bounds.

Specializing in a host of sports as well as cultural activities, the schools' tournament has seen a number of positive products like Khuliso Mudau and Lesedi Kapinga hail from it.
Now, as they continue to strengthen their ties within sport and education, an announcement was made at Sanlam's Sandton offices where a R32 million sponsorship was confirmed.
This is in addition to the R11 million prize money already paid.
The allocation of the money will see R24 million dedicated to sports like netball and soccer, while R8 million will be used for cultural activities.
