It may come as a surprise to many that Highlands Park are the team that have salvaged the most points after falling behind. In fact, Gordon Igesund's team have fallen behind on six occasions, losing three of those games, drawing twice and even winning once, giving them a total of five points from losing positions.
Then, Golden Arrows have won once and drawn another on the four occasions this season that they fell behind, earning four points. Next in line is Bidvest Wits, who have three points from just a single game in which they fell behind this season. SuperSport United also have three points from their two games that they incurred a deficit, while Polokwane City, Platinum Stars, Baroka, Maritzburg United and Free State Stars have all earned two points from losing positions.
On the other hand, Cape Town City, Chippa United, Mamelodi Sundowns, Ajax Cape Town and Bloemfontein Celtic have all failed to salvage a single point after falling behind this season, while Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have just one point from the two games that either side fell behind in this season.
