Moroka Swallows have appointed Craig Rosslee as their new head coach, and will be hoping that he can help them survive the drop over the course of the next few games.
Madida resigned from his position as head coach earlier this month after a string of bad results that saw the Dube Birds drop into the Absa Premiership relegation zone.
CEO, Leon Prins, explained on Monday that Swallows would be making a decision on who they had chosen to try and lead them out away from a relegation dogfight by the end of this week, and has stayed true to his word.
Yesterday the Siya crew revealed that former Mpumalanga Black Aces coach, Clive Barker, was at the top of Swallows’ wish list. While the crew can confirm that Swallows management met with Barker yesterday, Wednesday March 26, the former Bafana Bafana mentor is still under contract with Aces and as it stands, will not be heading to the Birds.
It has now been confirmed by Prins that Rosslee has been signed up by the club, attended his first training session today and will be in charge for Swallows' next game when they face Chippa United next month.
