In the transfer window last year, Downs made it clear they wanted the player at Chloorkop, but SuperSport opted to keep the player. However, the Siya crew have reported that Sundowns have not lost interest in the striker, and are still keen on signing him.
The Siya crew can confirm that Masandawana have made an offer of more than R10 million to secure the New Zealand international's signature, but Downs were unsuccessful in their attempts. SuperSport will look to keep the forward, who has a year left on his contract, with indications of furthering his commitment to the club.
