Austria 2-2 Wales Wales maintained their unbeaten run in the FIFA World Cup qualifers with a hard-fought draw in Austria on Thursday. Marko Arnautovic produced the goals for the hosts as he netted in the 28th and 48th minutes, while Joe Allen (22') scored for the visitors before an own goal from Kevin Wimmer (og 45'+). Republic of Ireland 1-0 Georgia A solitary strike from Seamus Coleman in the 56th minute clinched the victory for Ireland over their visitors at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Moldova 0-3 Serbia Filip Kostic ensured the visitors were off to a positive start as he netted the first goal in the 19th minute before Branislav Ivanovic (37') doubled the advantage and Dusan Tadic (59') sealed the three points. Liechtenstein 0-2 Albania Albania were in front after only 11 minutes thanks to an own goal from Peter Jehle, and their victory was secured by Bekim Balaj (71') who doubled the lead. Macedonia 1-2 Israel Tomer Hemed gave the visitors the lead in the 25th minute and Tal Ben Haim (43') made it 2-0 before a consolation from Ilija Nestorovski just past the hour mark. Iceland 3-2 Finland The away side had the early advantage thanks to Teemu Pukki's strike in the 21st minute. Kari Arnason (37') levelled matters but Robin Lod (39') put the Fins back in front. There was drama at the death as Alfred Finnbogason (90') and Ragnar Sigurdsson (90'+) scored to snatch victory for Iceland. Kosovo 0-6 Croatia Mario Mandzukic was in impeccable form for the visitors as he completed a hat-trick in the first 35 minutes before Matej Mitrovic (68'), Ivan Perisic (83'), and Nikola Kalinic (90'+) capped off the rout. Turkey 2-2 Ukraine Ukraine were off to a flying start as Andriy Yarmolenko (24') and Artem Kravets (27') found the back of the net, but Ozan Tufan (45'+) reduced the deficit before Hakan Calhanoglu (81') equalised.
