Zinedine Zidane has reacted to Isco being caught complaining about his managerial decisions on the bench during Real Madrid's 3-1 El Clasico win over FC Barcelona this past weekend.
On Saturday, cameras caught the 28-year-old Spain international lamenting his playing time after he was named on the bench against the Blaugrana.
Isco reportedly said that when he starts, he more often than not gets taken off by the 60th minute and that he only gets introduced as a substitute from the 80th minute onwards.
Speaking about his player's complaints, Zidane suggested that Isco just wants to play, and sees his comments as a positive.
"It's ambition. He wants to play," the Frenchman said, according to AS.
"That's positive. Players always want to play. They have to be ready and prepared to play when it's their turn.
"It's always been like that in this team."
Isco has featured only four times for Real so far this season, and is yet to contribute to a goal.
