Teams: Golden Arrows v AmaZulu
Date: 01 May 2021
Venue: Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium
AmaZulu will have a chance of climbing to the top of the DStv Premiership log when they visit Golden Arrows in the KwaZulu-Natal derby on Saturday afternoon.
The match will kickstart at 15h00.
Usuthu made their intentions clear of contesting for the league title after hammering Cape Town City 5-1 on Wednesday and extended their unbeaten run to 15 matches.
Benni McCarthy's charges went up to within one point of leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in second place and victory will take them to the top of the log, although the Brazilians will have three games in hand after their match.
Their neighbors, Arrows will also be looking to stay in contention for the title after their goalless draw with Sundowns in midweek extended their unbeaten run to nine matches.
Mandla Ncikazi's troops are lying third on the log with 43 points and victory will take them up to within a point of Usuthu.
Abafana Bes'thende will be chasing a league double over AmaZulu after claiming a 2-0 victory in the first round meeting in December last year.
