Confirmed: Man Utd & Chelsea Target Joins AC Milan

An African star, who was a target for Manchester United and Chelsea, has completed a move to Serie A outfit, AC Milan.

The Milan have confirmed the signing of Ivory Coast international Franck Kessie from Atalanta on a two-year loan deal.

The player's agent previously revealed that Man United, Chelsea and Manchester City were as potential destinations, however the midfielder has decided to remain in Italy.

A statement on the club's website read," "Franck Kessie is a new Milan player.

"After undergoing medical examinations, the Ivorian midfielder has signed a contract until June 30, 2019."
 
 
The 20-year-old netted six goals and created four assists in 30 league appearances as Atalanta, who finished fourth.
