Milutin Sredojevic leaving Orlando Pirates, Rulani Mokwena stepping in:
The football fraternity was dealt its first shock on August 16, when Milutin 'Micho' Sredojevic unexpectedly handed in his resignation at Orlando Pirates.
Micho's exit subsequently saw Rulani Mokwena stepping in at the helm, with it being his first head coach stint, although not without any criticism from the public.
SuperSport United crowned MTN8 Champions, Kaitano Tembo with first trophy:
SuperSport United, who are cup final specialist, lifted the 2019 MTN8 trophy, with head coach Kaitano Tembo delivering his first piece of silverware at the helm of Matsatsantsa.
Benni McCarthy given the boot:
At midnight on November 04, Cape Town City shockingly announced that they terminated Benni McCarthy's contract with immediate effect.
The news saw tributes pouring in from all over the football fraternity.
Kaizer Chiefs first league win over Orlando Pirates in years:
On Saturday, November 09, Kaizer Chiefs recorded their first win over Orlando Pirates in four years, with the two Soweto sides playing to a 3-2 showdown at the FNB Stadium.
Mpho Makola's ban from football:
On November 15, Mpho Makola and the football fraternity received the devastating news from the Premier Soccer League, who banned the midfielder from football for six months.
