Speaking in this week's issue of Soccer Laduma, the young midfielder opened up about his decision to stay in Pietermaritzburg for the time being. Mekoa said, "My decision to stay at Maritzburg was because I felt that I owed them, since they introduced me to the spotlight, and I am a kind of well-known soccer player because of them. I am what I am because of them and I am grateful for that. I still have enough time and I will move when the time is right." See the full interview with Mekoa in issue 998 of Soccer Laduma.
