Report: Barca Eyeing Former Real Star
Barcelona are reportedly keeping a close eye on an Arsenal star, but Real Madrid have made a move for him complicated.
The Catalans' technical director, Roberto Fernandez, is said to be working on a way to bring Mesut Ozil to Camp Nou this summer.
However, when the Germany international joined the Gunners from Real Madrid, Los Blancos added an 'anti-panic' clause which means they have a 48-hour first refusal.
This means Real Madrid can take over Barca's move by simply offering an equal amount for the playmaker's services.
Should Ozil be transferred in a move valued at over 50 million euros, Real will also receive 33% of the transfer fee.
What do you think of Real's Ozil clause? Shrewd or rude? Have your say in the comments section below.
