FC Barcelona forward Luis Suarez has commented on superstar Lionel Messi's start to the season.
The Uruguayan scored a hat-trick in the Catalan club's 6-2 demolition of Real Betis on Saturday, but heaped praise on Messi for his dazzling display.
The Argentine found the net twice and assisted one of Suarez's goals, and the former Liverpool striker feels there is no stopping the 29-year-old when he is on form.
"Leo has started like a beast, and is the best player in the world," he told reporters, according to Sportskeeda.
"All you can do is surrender to his feet and enjoy him."
The Uruguayan also spoke about the Blaugrana's hopes for the season, insisting a win at home is the best way to start the campaign.
"Barcelona is always the favourite and one of the candidates to win the league, Always there are three or four teams fighting for it," he added.
"We have to show fight because we are the holders. We had to start strong at home, it is always important.
"Obviously, on an individual level, I like the satisfaction of being able to help the team, that's what is essential."
