Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has commented on the errors that led to his side's defeat to Maritzburg United on Saturday evening.
A quick-fire brace from Daylon Claasen condemned the Absa Premiership leaders to a 2-1 defeat at the FNB Stadium.
Goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi committed a glaring error that led to the opening goal, while Maritzburg's second goal arrived a minute later.
"We had a Telkom cup game in the semi-final, we brought them in the game 1-0, everybody knows, a back pass too short," Middendorp told SuperSport.
"Second game we brought them back into the game, on the last line, totally unncessary and today again.
"I said it before, minimise your things [individual errors], we have done so far not bad, the defence, the rest defence was good but this was a casual moment just to offer this opportunity, ja, 0-1 down.
"I said it before, this should not happen and then you're in a miserable situation, unfortunately it happens."
