'Slowly, The League Is Getting Painted Yellow'

'Slowly, The League Is Getting Painted Yellow'

Mamelodi Sundowns assistant coach Manqoba Mnqithi believes that Cape Town City did not give them a tough time when they beat them 1-0 in their league meeting last week.

Mnqithi further elaborated that Masandawana dominated against Citizens despite their three consecutive losses against them prior to the encounter.

Supporters Club members have reacted to the Downs assistant coach's comments; here's what some of them said:

"Really? Yeah, it is true, especially when one buys their top performing players just to weaken the team. It was Black Leopards, Maritzburg Utd, Platinum Stars, Bloem Celtics and now CTCFC. There won't be a hoodoo team if that is allowed to happen. To weaken other teams in that fashion is cowardice. I would understand if one buys to strengthen one's side, not to buy for the bench and loan out to smaller teams." – Dangerous when provoked

"Sundowns is the PSL powerhouse and slowly the league is getting painted yellow." – roger-fetumba

"Mr hooodoo has spoken, kikikiki!" – Bragibbz

"What happened to the pretenders, Polokwane City, Baroka and Maritzburg United? Umbrella holders indeed. Naba nabanye be busy no position four (others are busy with position number four). Nc nc nc, these small teams are funny." – Junero

Do you think Sundowns can remain at the top until the end of the season?
