Should Stuart Baxter Be Axed As Bafana Coach?

Following his quarterfinal exit at the AFCON in Egypt, opinion has been split over whether Stuart Baxter should continue as head coach of Bafana Bafana. We look at some social media opinions from various supporters across the country.

Baxter's AFCON results saw him suffer three defeats, while managing to amass two wins, most notably the 1-0 triumph over against host nation Egypt.

Many supporters feel as though it was not enough and that Baxter should receive the chop, while some feel as though the national team are a work in progress and that he should be given more time.

"It would be suicidal to remove coach Stuart Baxter from the national team we we played good football it is just unfortunate the odds were against us, we can't be forever building the 1996 took long time to build and can't compare  #StuartBaxter"

Twitter user: @AndileNcube

"Been watching all the Stuart Baxter videos and reading the reports. Someone please remind me, Why was Shakes fired again ?"

Twitter user: @masiya7575

"We have been reduced to a nation that hates anything local. This Baxter even goes to his native media houses to reveal shameful things about our socioeconomic issues and challenges but he's still celebrated. We are a joke! Actually, SAFA is a joke!!"

Do you feel that Stuart Baxter should be fired as Bafana Bafana coach?
