Mamelodi Sundowns have had somewhat of an exodus on transfer deadline day with the club managing to ship off a few unwanted players.
One fan has accused Downs Coach Pitso Mosimane of signing players without the intention of using them.
For all the prowess and expertise in his locker, Mosimane has on numerous occasions been accused of signing players with the aim of destabilizing rival teams.
One example of this could be the case of New Zealand striker Jeremy Brockie. The Kiwi arrived in the PSL as an unknown quantity, but he quickly announced himself as a proven goalscorer in the colours of SuperSport United.
It was not long before big clubs came knocking for his services and he opted to join cross-city rivals, Sundowns.
However, things did not quite work out as planned for the 31-year-old. A string of injuries as well as inconsistent performances and a system, which did not suit his direct style, culminated in a paltry two goals in 32 appearances for Downs.
In his defence, Mosimane previously stated that he had given all players a fair chance to prove themselves and if they were on the bench, it was because players in their positions were performing well.
In light of this, one fan feels that Mosimane is doing players a disservice by holding onto them without the intention of giving them the required game time.

"Aubrey Ngoma, Jeremy Brockie, Andile Jali and George Lebese, were playing regularly before they moved to Downs. Pitso should not sign players he knows will not play at Downs. There are so many teams in the PSL willing to give those boys a run. Money is not everything; please stop killing player's careers, Pitso!"
