Reader's Voice: Chiefs Fans Give Ntshangase One Last Chance!

Reader's Voice: Chiefs Fans Give Ntshangase One Last Chance!

Having arrived in Naturena with much fanfare, the man nicknamed 'Champagne Passes' has not exactly lived up to his billing. Kaizer Chiefs fans have issued a stern warning to their number 10 ahead of this weekend's derby.

Ntshangase arrived at the Amakhosi during the 2017/18 season from Baroka FC, but it was at Black Leopards where his star shone brightest.

The 26-year-old midfielder failed to set the stage alight and made just 13 Absa Premiership starts in 2018/19 as he fell out of favour in the second half of the campaign, making a mere two league appearances in 2019 under German mentor, Ernst Middendorp.

Thanks to the Carling Black Label's unique voting system, Ntshangase has been selected in Chiefs' starting XI for tomorrow's clash against eternal rivals, Orlando Pirates.

Ahead of the highly anticipated clash, fans have issued a stern warning to 'Champagne Passes.'

"This is your last chance to show us what you are capable of otherwise you will watch all Chiefs' games on the stands. Show Mazinyo that you are not supposed to be on the bench just do your thing champagne passes then we supporters who vote for you."

"Mr champagne passes..., you're one of those laziest players in our PSL, in the mould of former Chiefs midfielder who used to wear Jersey no 10 (Nkambule) and (Lebese). Football is for hard workers, so for the sake of your career...you've to work extra hard boy, or else...."

SL Supporter: Simza@$

"You are most fortunate to earn a starting eleven and I would like to see you improve your work ethic...otherwise, you will sit on the stands for the upcoming season."

SL Supporter: mkhonowekati

"You can do better boy but try to improve your shooting. You can play good football but if you can't score clear chances. We won't support you."

Do you think that Ntshangase can prove his doubters wrong tomorrow?
