Reader's Voice: "Chiefs Are Very Good At Press Conferences, But When Coming To Cups Dololo"

Kaizer Chiefs are known as the Glamour Boys, yet things have not been so glamorous for the Soweto giants as their trophy cabinet has been gathering dust in recent years. One fan seems to suggest that Chiefs are better at press conferences than they are at winning cups.

The last time Chiefs lifted any type of silverware was in the 2014/15 season, under the tutelage of now-Bafana Bafana coach, Stuart Baxter when they lifted the MTN 8.

Since then Chiefs have been in a host of finals but have incredibly lost all of them, the most recent one being last season when they lost out to NFD side TS Galaxy in the Nedbank Cup final.

As they look to restore their glory days, Kaizer Chiefs hosted a press conference on Tuesday evening to unveil their latest acquisitions as well as their 2019/20 home and away kit.

While a supporter was happy with the club's press conference, he bemoaned their lack of trophies.
