While Kaizer Chiefs' critics are rejoicing about the fact that the club does not have a solid goalkeeping option with Khune sidelined for the remainder of the season, fans don't seem stressed about who will play in goal for the Buccaneers!
Some are confident in Pirates despite the lack of reliable goalkeepers at the club. Soccer Laduma reader Mpho Duncan Mothupi even said the Buccaneers can do without a goalkeeper for the derby, implying that Chiefs are no threat:
"Pirates can play with Kaizer Chiefs without a goalkeeper and they will still win. I don't understand why they are stressing."

Considering that Amakhosi have not been too clinical in front of goal this season, Mzu Mbooi Ntlabati threw shade at Chiefs for their failure to convert many of their chances into goals. The Soccer Laduma reader added that this means Pirates don't even need a goalkeeper as Chiefs will fail to convert their chances anyway:
"We, Pirates, don't even need a goalkeeper when we are playing against Chiefs. We know they will have 0 shots on target."

Chiefs critics seem to believe that anyone can be fielded as a goalkeeper and still succeed! Sibusiso Real Kops Mhlophe even put his faith in a bizarre option, confident that it would still a viable one against Amakhosi:
"Even Happy Jele can play as a GK [goalkeeper] against [Chiefs]. It makes no difference."
