'If Milutin Sredojevic and Rhulani Mokoena Don't Improve They Must Go!'

Tshini!

Orlando Pirates' title hopes were dented after a 1-0 loss away to SuperSport United on Wednesday. Fans were left bitter and disappointed as Bucs' chances for silverware seem to be slipping out of reach. But what are the fans saying exactly?

Soccer Laduma reader Ruud-krol(mugabel) (who has named himself after the former Pirates coach) seems bitter about the result and questioned the input of other supporting coaches to head coach Milutin "Micho" Sredojevic:

"Two goals [scored] in our last four games but there is a finishing coach. Why is he still not fired? All those overseas what-what coaches must go, they clearly contribute nothing. Micho must remain with Rhulani [Mokoena] as his assistant. If they don't improve, they must go as well. We've been patient with this rubbish for far too long."

Fans such as Patrick Shikwambani@kaizerchiefs perceive Matsatsantsa's victory as evidence of how competitive the PSL is. According to the Soccer Laduma reader, consistency is the only attribute that can help a club lift the league trophy:

"… I compare our [league] with the English Premier League where every team stands a chance to win the game. It's not easy to predict. Pirates had an upper hand over SuperSport before the game because they had a few players on suspension but went on to lose the game. That's why in my opinion I'm saying that only a team's consistency will win the league, which is not clear so far."

But not all fans seemed dejected by Pirates' result. Soccer Laduma reader and regular contributor Bucsfever16 saw positives from certain Bucs players during the game:

"All credit to [Wayne] Sandilands though. Him and [Thembinkosi] Lorch are the two standout performers who are willing to die on the field of play for the team, the supporters and the badge. [Luvuyo] Memela showed some glimpses of what a good footballer he is after a long injury. I hope he will be on the starting XI against AmaZulu on Saturday."
