Following the recent transfers of Zimbabwean defenders Marshall Munetsi and Teeange Hadebe from Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs respectively, supporters shed light on why foreign players are ahead of South Africans in terms of moves abroad.
Both Munetsi and Hadebe recently secured moves to Europe, with Munetsi signing for Stade Reims in France, while Hadebe moved to Malatyaspor in Turkey.
It appears as though foreign players are on the move more frequently than their Mzansi counterparts and fans have taken to Twitter to discuss why.

It's a good question, my attempt to answer would be, most Zim players seems to have a better work ethic compared to our players, both Munetsi and Hadebe were not the most talented in their respective teams, however they played their hearts out.

Guess south africans are nt used to living outside mzansi...so playing abroad doesnt excite them
@MUSA0900
True, there are lot of young players I've seen in the PSL who according to me were supposed to be in good leagues in Europe...Sipho Mbule, Tebogo mokeona, Grant Mergeman, but you will find that later they will end in Arab leagues. It is not good for the future of Bafana.
What do you think is the reason for foreigners moving to Europe more regularly than SA players?
