Fans Back Baccus For Bafana

Fans Back Baccus For Bafana

"Wow he can fit like a glove because he is mobile, has that fighting spirit and he doesn't hide like other players do on the field."

These are the sentiments of SL Supporter @Mmaxongo who like many others, feel that Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Kearyn Baccus is deserving of a Bafana call-up.

Baccus has been in sensational form since joining Chiefs at the start of the season and has registered two assists and a goal in the eight games he has played.

SL Supporter @jeffrey-owise-originally0 speaks highly of the Durban-born midfielder, who played most of his football in Australia, where he grew up.

"He has what it takes to be considered... Marvellous to watch, comfortable on the ball and comfortable off the ball. He is a REAL GEM, of course some fans are not happy because he is a KC player but honestly we all GUNNING for the NATIONAL TEAM, guys despite what we hate about KC, PIRATES DOWNS let us UNITE FOR THE NATION.... Positive minds can bring JOY, AMEN"

For all the fans who are backing the 28-year-old, there are also those like @Tjitjotja who feel that Bafana's midfield does not need any new additions.

"We have a lot of quality players in his position... Zungu, Furman, Kekana, Mokotjo, Phiri... It won't be easy for him to come in and play."

Despite this, SL supporter @Nemusunda86 feels that he should be given a chance.

"Try him coach, maybe he can help us qualify for big tournaments like AFCON and World Cups."

Do you think Baccus deserves a look in with the national team?
