Donovan Hunt, better known as Tekkz in FIFA circles, clinched $35 000 (R604 000) after dominated the FIFA 20 eChampions League Invitational.
The tournament came to an end on Saturday and featured eight top players from Europe, including the European champions from the past three seasons.
Major stars included MegaBit, MoAuba and Ollelito, but it was Tekkz that starred at the event, with a comfortable 4-1 aggregate win.
Tekkz met MoAuba in the Grand Final after they both beat NRaseck7, and in the first leg Tekkz stormed to a 3-0 win. The second leg ended 1-1, and saw Tekkz claim the prize without being beaten throughout the tournament.
Having already won the FUT Champions Cup five times, as well as the ePremier League and Club World Cup, Tekkz was certainly one of the tournament's strongest contenders.
Overall, the tournament boasted a prize pool of $100 000 (1.7 million), with each participant claiming a cash prize.
