PUBG Mobile Ban Millions Of Cheaters In One Week

If you've found yourself almost tossing your cellphone across the room after a round of PUBG Mobile, you may be happy to hear that a lot of work has gone into eliminating cheaters.

According to Tencent, there were over 2 million accounts banned for cheating in the mobile battle royale game, along with 1.4 million devices in the space of a week.

This was confirmed by the games official Twitter account, which stated, "From August 20th to August 27th, 2,273,152 accounts and 1,424,854 devices have been permanently suspended from accessing our game."

They also broke down the types of cheat used by the banned accounts as follows:

  • 12%: Speed Cheats
  • 22%: Other
  • 27%: Auto-Aim Cheats
  • 32%: X-Ray Vision

PUBG Mobile remains a highly popular title, and alarmingly the number of cheaters using x-ray vision and auto-aim puts other players at a huge disadvantage.

It is refreshing to see that hard work is being done by the PUBG team to make sure that the playing field remains level.
