SuperSport United are understood to have joined the race for Lesotho goalkeeper Sekhoane Moerane, who the Siya crew reported in last week's edition of Soccer Laduma is on the radar of Kaizer Chiefs.
Subsequently, it was revealed on the Soccer Laduma website earlier this week that Mamelodi Sundowns are another team that has been keeping tabs on the shot-stopper with a view to adding him to their list of targets. Moerane has done well as first-choice goalkeeper for his national side, with his performances against Nigeria and Benin in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers earning him rave reviews.
Now, news reaching the crew's desk is that the 26-year-old is also being monitored by Matsatsantsa as well as Black Leopards, as incoming from sources.
"Sekhoane Moerane is likely to get invited for trials in the PSL in the coming weeks. The boy has been doing well and it is not surprising that he has now attracted interest from Sundowns and SuperSport United," said a source.
"That would be a big opportunity for him to further his career at either one of the two teams as they are both good clubs. Sundowns and SuperSport are not the only clubs showing interest in the player as Black Leopards is also keen," the source concluded.
