Kaizer Chiefs are strongly considering a loan move for utility player Dillan Solomons, Soccer Laduma has been informed. With all the coaching changes at Naturena, which saw Molefi Ntseki take over the reins from Arthur Zwane and later being replaced by Cavin Johnson on an interim basis, Solomons saw his game-time at the side dwindle.
At the moment, the 24-year-old has become the club's third-choice right back behind Reeve Frosler and Zitha Kwinika under Johnson. With just six appearances in all competitions to his name so far this campaign, the Siya crew has learnt that the club are considering a loan move for the former Moroka Swallows man.
The player penned a long-term deal with the Soweto giants in June last year, which will see him remain with the club until at least 2026.
Given his long-term deal in place, therefore, a loan deal at this point is most likely for the speedster, though the club are waiting until the January transfer window to make a final decision.
Solomons' last appearance in the famous Gold and Black colours came in October, when he came on as a late second-half substitute in a 2-1 loss to Golden Arrows.
