Orlando Pirates have provided an update on the injury of Thembinkosi Lorch ahead of their crucial CAF Confederation Cup match.
The Buccaneers will host Eswatini champions Royal Leopards in a Confederation Cup match at Orlando Stadium this evening and the club has confirmed that Lorch is doubtful after picking an injury in the Nedbank Cup loss against Marumo Gallants on Wednesday.
Bucs thrashed the Eswatini outfit 6-2 in the first leg match played at the Mbombela Stadium two weeks ago.
"There are fresh injury concerns in the Buccaneers camp over midfielder Thembinkosi Lorch, who was stretched off the field during the marathon midweek clash against Marumo Gallants. The 28-year-old has featured in all three of Pirates' Group B fixtures, and is now a doubtful starter for Sunday's clash," confirmed Pirates on the club's official website.
