Orlando Pirates are yet to lose a league game under the mentorship of the new German head coach, but what do the players think about his influence in the team?
The Bucs have won six of their last Absa Premiership encounters since Josef Zinnbauer has been appointed the new head coach, making their way up as far as second place on the log; a big turn around.
In an exclusive interview with Soccer Laduma this week, Abel Mabaso, who's recently established himself as a regular in the squad, opened up about how Zinnbauer has changed things around at the Bucs.
"With the results, it's evident that there has been a change, but to be honest with you, we are not looking too far ahead. We need to focus on each game as it comes. Of course, he has a different way of looking at things in terms of football, so we just had to embrace his way of doing things and take it gradually. That's the most important thing, for us to be open and embrace his way of doing things. That has helped us a lot," the 28-year-old said.
