Tinkler: We Looked Lost At Stages

Orlando Pirates coach Eric Tinkler admitted his side looked out of sorts at stages during the 4-2 win over Free State Stars on Saturday. Pirates Outclass FS Stars In Goal-Fest The Buccaneers took a 2-0 lead into the half-time break of their Nedbank Cup semi-final clash and went on to score two more in the last five minutes to secure a spot in the final. Stars made a change to their formation at half-time, and Tinkler was disappointed that his players were unable to adjust accordingly. He said, "We started very well today. We really looked good in the first half and deserved to have the 2-0 lead. "Second half they changed their formation to 3-5-2, which is what we had planned for, but it was a bit of chaos to be honest. The guys looked a little bit lost. "We started to panic and they started creating chances. We looked at sixes and sevens. "At least we remembered that there would be space to hurt them on the counter attack. And that's exactly what happened. "We lost some confidence after the Sundowns game, but we started rebuilding against Chippa and started creating more chances again today."
