Baxter To Snatch Another Chiefs Player?
SuperSport played to a 2-2 draw with Pirates in the final game of the 2015/16 Absa Premiership campaign. The result was enough to squeeze Matsatsantsa into the top eight and now the former SuperSport United defender has explained that his team will look to make up for a disappointing season.
"If you look at how we started the season it wasn't good but since coach Stuart Baxter took over we have improved," the Zimbabwean told the Siya crew. "And that's why this trophy would help us rescue a bad season."
The 45-year-old went on to explain that last week's fixture has raised tension amongst his team's players, which he believes will help motivate them in Saturday's game.
"After playing the same team about a week ago, the tension in the team amongst the players is high as everyone wants to play, which is good for the motivation amongst the players," Tembo concluded.
