The former Bidvest Wits player has already won the trophy once with his old club and is now looking to claim it for a second time with the Buccaneers, but said that it's not just about his ambitions, but the team's as a whole.
"It's true when we win it on Saturday it will be my third time and I want that," he told the Siya crew. "But it's not all about what I want, it's about what the team wants and as a team we want this trophy."
The 27-year-old went on to describe the atmosphere in the Pirates camp, saying that all the players are very excited to fight for the title against Stuart Baxter's SuperSport United, and that they feel optimistic ahead of the big game.
"That's all we have been talking about since we reached the finals. But we have to do the work on the field on Saturday and I know we will do it," Myeni added.
