Sibusiso 'Vila' Vilakazi has revealed that the team will treat their clash against Mariveni United the same way that they approach a cup final.
In their previous encounter against a lower-league side in the Nedbank Cup, Powerlines FC suffered a 24-0 thumping by the Brazilians, and now the Chloorkop-based club are set to face another lower league team in the competition.
Speaking after the Nedbank Cup draw, the Bafana Bafana international revealed that Sundowns will remain motivated for the challenge against Mariveni, despite coming off the back of both the CAF Champions League and FIFA Club World Cup.

"It's quite an interesting one. But It's a cup game, and in a cup game you have one shot to either win or you are out. But we will gather as much information as possible about them. We want to win," Vilakazi said on Sundowns' official website.
"The game keeps changing. It's going to be a good test for us and also for them. We are motivated. We take it as a cup final.
"It will be very special. We have a good squad, but this will be very interesting," he added.
The dates and times for the Nedbank Cup round of 32 are yet to be revealed, but in the meantime, Masandawana will get the second half of their 2016/17 campaign underway when they face Bloemfontein Celtic in the Absa Premiership on Wednesday.
