Tsotetsi is currently in the Eastern Cape club's setup. Having last played competitive football with the side, the former defender was added to the team's coaching staff when he decided to quit the game.
Tsotetsi, 34, is the team's assistant coach, under head coach Vuyisile Njedu. With the experience he has gained from playing for different clubs in the professional ranks, the former centre back will be expected to help the young and inexperienced players at the ABC Motsepe League club to overcome the pressure of coming up against the more experienced Bucs stars.
Tsotetsi played for Wits University (now Bidvest Wits), Jomo Cosmos, Kaizer Chiefs, Bloemfontein Celtic, Vasco da Gama, Mpumalanga Black Aces and Roses United in his 11-year playing career.
He and the technical team of the third tier outfit are preparing for the team's game against Pirates in the Last 32 of the Nedbank Cup, to be held at East London's Sisa Dukashe Stadium on 12 March.
The ambitious club also have former Chippa United and Golden Arrows striker Welcome Qalanto in its ranks, and EC Bees' team manager, Zama Nene, is excited about the involvement of former PSL players at the club.
"We have our own legends such as Welcome Qalanto and assisting on the bench is Mokete Tsotetsi. Mokete was our player. This season, he became the assistant coach of EC Bees FC," Nene said.
