SuperSport United captain, Dean Furman, has said that his team will be looking to take an early lead in order to ensure victory over Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final today.
Baxter To Snatch Another Chiefs Player?
SuperSport fell behind twice in their league fixture against Eric Tinkler's men last weekend in the 2-2 draw and Furman has said that his team want to avoid falling behind by scoring early so that they can take control of today's game.
"We are motivated going into this game," he told the Siya crew. "We managed to come back twice in the last game and, for this cup final, we just have to keep them on their backs and score earlier than them."
The Bafana Bafana midfielder went on to say that if they can defend their lead, it will help his team lift the trophy and end the season on a high.
"If we can do that and defend well then we can lift the trophy at the end of the day. We want to finish the season on a high note by winning this trophy," Furman concluded.
