Former Amakhosi defender Mokete Tsotetsi believes that with the new technical team in charge, the team will put up a good fight in the DStv Premiership.
Speaking to the Siya crew in an exclusive interview, the legend believes that Chiefs will win at least one trophy during the upcoming campaign.
"This season we will see a different Kaizer Chiefs. First and foremost, there is a totally new technical team and if you look at the social media of the training in Turkey you can see that they are training hard for the coach and for the team. You can see that they are enjoying themselves, smiling and looking forward to the start of the season," Tsotetsi said to Soccer Laduma.
"We know we need silverware this season. I can't say where we will finish in the league, but we will compete for the league and since we are not in the MTN8, we will fight in the Carling Cup and the Nedbank Cup. We haven't been getting any trophies for a long time now and this season I know we will get a silverware. We will get at least one trophy this season and qualify for CAF Champions League as well," he added.

The former player has called on fans not to put the new coach under pressure, but to remain positive as Nabi's experience speaks for itself.
"We don't have to put the coach under pressure but he is a coach that if you look at his history, he has done well everywhere he has coached and I know he will do the same with Kaizer Chiefs. But we can't put him under pressure."
Meanwhile the former defender added that the team should sign wingers who can attack and give the opposition defenders tough time.
"They should sign players like Shaune Mogaila. If they can get him he will be a very good signing. They should sign him and two other fast wingers who can take on defenders and give them problems to create chances for the strikers. We need speedy players up front who will help attack from all angles and also score goals. But looking at the way the team is training in Europe, we will compete very well this season," Tsotetsi concluded.
