Chiefs Technical Team Revealed
Chiefs have made the mistake of signing players that are not of the quality required by the club.
These are the words of the club's new Tunisian tactician who recently took over the reins at Amakhosi. Nabi has quickly learnt that Chiefs face an uphill battle in signing players as clubs often look for the highest possible price when the Glamour Boys come knocking for their players.
He says that more signings are expected at Naturena in addition to Rushwin Dortley and Fiacre Ntwari who have been signed from Cape Town Spurs and TS Galaxy respectively.
"I'm very happy that I've got two new signings that are needed in the team most definitely. I do respect what the office has to do with regards to the recruitment. However, the team still does need certain players in certain positions that will meet the expectations of Kaizer Chiefs and of the fans. The fans also need to know that this is not a quick transformation of the club to be strong and to have the quality play. However definitely we will be signing players that I will not mention yet, but they are in line," he told SuperSport with the help of an interpreter.

"The club has made some errors in signing players that were not needed, that were not the quality of Kaizer Chiefs. We need to be very careful how we choose our players, what players we choose, what calibre, what kind of players we put on the field. To meet the expectations.
"Looking at the market that is very tight and very, very close, a lot of clubs doesn't wanna release their players to us. They wanna sell their players to us. However, we're still gonna need to look battle, fight to find that right player that we're going to put on the field and give us a plus," he added.
