Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder George Maluleka has vowed to continue his playing career despite currently being without a club.
Maluleka, who last played for Durban-based club AmaZulu, parted ways with the team at the end of last season and has yet to find a new outfit. The 35-year-old midfielder mentioned that his representatives are actively seeking opportunities and are optimistic about securing the right deal soon. Maluleka has had a notable career in the top flight, having played for SuperSport United and the now-defunct Ajax Cape Town.

He has made over 300 appearances and won many league and cup titles over his career.
"I'm a baller, I'm still a baller. I love football, I'm passionate about it. I'm still club-hunting and I believe something will come up so we working very hard. My agent is still out there, trying to make sure we get the right deal," Maluleka told Marawa Sports Worldwide.
"But I still I have a lot in my legs so I'm not about to hang up my boots, just yet. I love this game too much, I think at this point in time, money is the last thing on my mind," he further noted.
Maluleka's career reached new heights at Kaizer Chiefs, where he won the league and MTN8 in the 2014/15 season. He later moved to Sundowns midway through the 2019/20 season, a decision that came during a crucial period for Chiefs, who were competing for the title under coach Ernst Middendorp. Unfortunately, Chiefs lost out to Sundowns on the last day.
"How long ago was it? When was this, 2019/20? It was a while back. The timing was…I can't say if it was right or wrong. It wasn't my decision to make, it happened and that's just how it went down.

"It was my decision to go to Sundowns, but not at that point because if you remember there was still the bubble and I couldn't be involved in the bubble because of the offer that was made on the other side.
"I wanted to finish what I started (at Chiefs) which was to win the league and then move and that couldn't happen unfortunately. It was unfortunate that we couldn't agree on terms," he said.
Last season was challenging for Maluleka, who was struggling with injuries so he will need to convince any interested club that he is still in good condition for a PSL campaign.
