The artist who created Cristiano Ronaldo's questionable bust has gone and made one of Gareth Bale… which Real Madrid star do you think got the better-looking piece of artwork?
The Welshman's bust was unveiled in Cardiff, the city he grew up in and where the UEFA Champions League final between Los Blancos and Juventus will be played this weekend.
Emanuel Santos, the artist who created Ronaldo's sculpture for the renaming of the Funchal Airport in Madeira, said he is very happy with how Bale's one came out, and said it was "an honour" to have made it.
"I'm very happy. I feel very proud of it. For me, it's an honour to make Gareth Bale because he's a great player." Santos told the BBC.
The Bale statue is said to be worth about £25 000 (R416 000) and weighs 40kg – heavier than the one of Ronaldo.
