Engen proudly congratulates Adrielle Mibe on being awarded a full soccer scholarship to the University of Arizona in the United States. A standout talent who has participated in the Engen Knockout Challenge for the past three years, Adrielle's story is a shining example of the tournament’s mission to elevate young talent and open doors to life-changing opportunities.
Representing the University of Johannesburg (UJ) Ladies at the Gauteng leg of the 2025 Engen Knockout Challenge, Mibe ended her tournament journey on the highest note, captaining her team to lift the trophy and collecting two individual awards: Player of the Tournament and Midfielder of the Tournament.
Reflecting on her journey, Adrielle shared:
“Playing at the Engen Knockout Challenge has always been a great experience. I’m happy I was able to end my stint with a victory alongside my teammates. I’m grateful to Engen for creating this platform where players like me can showcase our talent. I look forward to heading to the U.S.,elevating my game, improving myself, and hopefully making it into a more professional league.”
