Orlando Pirates have been reminded of when Horoya AC eliminated Mamelodi Sundowns out of the CAF Champions League as a motivation, as Milutin Sredojevic and his team prepare for their Friday encounter against the Guinean outfit.
The Buccaneers are back at work in preparation of their second Group B match, which will be against the Guinean outfit at Orlando Stadium on Friday, following the PSL side's 0-0 draw against Zimbabwe's FC Platinum on the weekend.

Having already faced Horoya in the other Group B match, which was played last Friday at the Stade 28 Septembre in Conakry, Egyptian giants Esperance are well placed to comment on what to expect from the Guinean outfit that eliminated the 2016 African champions out of the prestigious continental competition in group stages in front of their supporters at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in August.
Assistant coach at Esperance, Mejdi Traoui, has lauded Horoya for their performances and results from recent times.
"It was a tough match for us here in Conakry. Horoya is a good team. We suffered during this meeting," the assistant coach said in part, as quoted on Horoya's official website after their match.

"We came to try our luck. It's a complicated group and there is no small match. All the teams are good. It's not just any team that can get a draw here against Horoya. Do not forget that last year Horoya pushed aside big teams like Mamelodi Sundowns," he added.
Bucs will hope to be the first team from the group to get a win and to go to the top of the log from their match at 18h00, as all four teams are currently tied on one point each, with the second match of the group on Friday scheduled for 20h00 between Esperance and FC Platinum at the Stade Olympique de Radès in Tunisia.
