Ratings:

Kennedy Mweene - 6/10   In for Denis Onyango, and made a few good saves in the second half too keep the score down, but he was helpless for both of Lobi's goals.   Thapelo Morena - 6/10   The full-back covered his role well, but didn't provide enough attacking support as he usually does.   Ricardo Nascimento -5/10   Missed a point-blank header at the start, but his poor challenge resulted in a penalty for Lobi, while he was at sixes and sevens for the second goal.   Rivaldo Coetzee -4/10   Let down by poor positioning at times and was caught wanting especially in the second half.   Mosa Lebusa -5/10   Made a decent start to the game with good defensive clearances in the earlier rounds, but didn't overlap successively per requirement.   Tiyani Mabunda - 6/10   Played too deep in the first half, but began searching forward towards halftime before dropping deep again in the second half.   Hlompho Kekana -6/10   Like his partner, played too deep and didn't get enough control on the ball, while his final delivery not sufficient too.   Lyle Lakay - 3/10   Not the liveliest of showings by the former Cape Town City, who for large parts of the game was a mere absentee.   Lebohang Maboe -5/10   He missed a good chance to get his first group stage goal following a poor finish from close-range, while he was quiet for most of the second half.   Gaston Sirino -6/10   Sirino showed class in creating the first goal for Laffor to finish at the back-post, although he disappeared from then on.   Anthony Laffor - 7/10   The Liberian were no doubt the club's best player on the day as he was a major threat up-front with his hard-running nature, but his teammates were sadly not on the same wavelength.   Substitutes:   Phakamani Mahlambi – 5/10   Came on for Coetzee midway in the second half as an extra attacking option as Pitso Mosimane threw caution to the wind, but the winger failed to make an impact.
