Ratings:

Kennedy Mweene: 7/10   Mweene did not have much to do throughout the game, but he made crucial saves whenever he was called upon.   Lyle Lakay: 7/10   Lakay was effective at left-full back and was not afraid to overlap and take shots at goal.   Ricardo Nascimento: 7,5/10   Nascimento was solid at the back and his ability to play from the back suited Sundowns, who were controlling the tempo of the game. He was unlucky to hit the woodwork with a header in the first stanza.   Wayne Arendse: 7/10   Arendse was equally uncompromising, but they did not have much of test at the back.   Thapelo Morena: 6.5/10   Morena was always a threat when he went forward on the right channel but was not as effective as he normally is.   Tiyani Mabunda: 6.5/10   Mabunda kept the shape of Sundowns in the midfield and had a good combination with Hlompho Kekana.   Hlompho Kekana: 7/10   Kekana was starting most of the attacks from deep in midfield. He, along with Mabunda, ran the show from the middle of the park.   Lebohang Maboe: 6,5/10   Maboe was combining well with the likes of Anthony Laffor and Gaston Sirino., but was unable to get his name on the score-sheet.   Gaston Sirino: 8/10   Sirino's performance was consistent in both halves. He was a thorn in the flesh for Al-Ahli Benghazi and opened the floodgates in the first half with a simple finish   Anthony Laffor: 8/10   He scored a beauty of a goal on his return to the starting line-up and was very effective. His combination with Sirino was crucial, which was evident in the opening goal.   Jeremy Brockie: 7/10   The New Zealand striker was a real threat from the onset and he was rewarded with a goal in the first half to continue his fine form for the Brazilians.   Substitutions:   Jose Ali Meza: 7/10   Ali Meza made an instant impact after coming on for Brockie late in the game and managed to score after making a brilliant solo run leading up to the goal.
