Pitso Mosimane believes that a win for Mamelodi Sundowns in their next round of the CAF Champions League competition will give the national team confidence for their final Africa Cup Of Nations qualifier.
Sundowns cruised into the first round of the Champions League, after defeating Leones Vegetarianos 7-1 on aggregate.
The Brazilians will now face off with Libyan side Al-Ahly Benghazi, playing away in the first leg, with head coach Mosimane revealing that despite back-to-back wins, the team still needs to gain momentum.

"But this time we are stuttering and that's why I started with the team I fielded, we need the momentum. We need to build the momentum, build confidence and develop a winning streak. That's important. You must also know where we are going. We are going to Al-Ahly Benghazi because they won. I think we'll probably play them in Egypt (because of the political turmoil in Libya)," he said on Sundowns' official website.
Mosimane also went on to add that a win against Al-Ahly Bhengazi, will give confidence for the national team, who will face Libya in their final AFCON qualifier in March next year.
"That's a big one, against a very big team. It's up to the boys to bring confidence to the country. We have to win against that team so that we give Bafana Bafana confidence because most of the players who play for Libya are there. It's important to win away," Mosimane revealed.
