After finishing second last season, the Buccaneers have returned to Africa's premier competition and will face Light Stars of Seychelles in the preliminary round.
Mosimane reveals its good that Pirates are back in the competition, but he would've hoped that Sundowns also got a similar opponent.
When asked if he would like to see the Buccaneers in the Champions League, Mosimane told SuperSport, ""Why not? It's a very good desire then you know one star is gonna be added on either badge. So that's good Pirates have a good team for [CAF] Champions League. They'll go into the group stages with ease.
