Mosa Lebusa Has Spoken Ahead Of Mamelodi Sundowns' CAF Champions League Clash

Mosa Lebusa Has Spoken Ahead Of Mamelodi Sundowns' CAF Champions League Clash

"If you think about everything, considering the travelling, it's madness," Mosa Lebusa said, ahead of his first away trip in the CAF Champions League competition with Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Brazilians will get their CAF Champions League campaign underway this evening against Leones Vegetarianos in the preliminary round of the competition.

Sundowns are set to have a busy schedule before the end of the year, trying to maintain their form in both the CAF Champions League and the Absa Premiership.

Following their clash this evening, Sundowns will return to league action this weekend and subsequently host Leones Vegetarianos in the return leg as early as next week.

Speaking to Sundowns' official website, Lebusa, who joined the Brazilians in the previous July/August transfer window, said that Masandawana can't complain much about the travelling and clustered fixtures.

"But then again we are professional players, we can't complain about that. Our job is to play football and that's where we are happy. If the fixture comes like that, we have to take it on the chin and go with it. If we can get two wins out of this – now and on Tuesday, we can get the momentum we need because we're playing a number of games in a short space of time. It could even help us improve our position in the league," the defender told the media.

"The pressure is different here in the sense that you have to win every game. I play for a very ambitious team right now. The pressure of winning is massive compared to where I come from. As a player, you set yourself targets. You want to win. You want to do good if given a chance. The pressure will always be there, what's important is how you handle it," he added.
