Mamelodi Sundowns defender, Mosa Lebusa shared some of the memories he has of the Brazilians and Orlando Pirates being crowned CAF Champions League winners.
Sundowns were the giants of Africa in 2016, after defeating Zamalek on aggregate to be crowned CAF Champions League champions, with Lebusa revealing that nobody expected the Brazilians to go all the way.

However, the 26-year-old revealed that he was too young to have any memory of the first South African team to lift the CAF Champions League trophy in 1995.
"Ja, I still have the memories of Sundowns winning the Champions League because I think when Pirates won, I was still young, so when Sundowns won it I remember I was talking to Keagan at that time and I wished him luck and they did it. I don't think anyone in the country expected them to win but they did it against all odds, I mean if they did it then, even now it's still doable, we can do it with the players that we have," Lebusa told the media.
Sundowns will get their CAF Champions League campaign underway in the preliminary round against Leones Vegetarianos this evening.
