The head coach revealed that he wanted to keep his key players fresh for their crucial CAF Champions League encounter on Tuesday, where a win against Horoya AC will ensure that Sundowns progress beyond the group stages of the competition.
"Can we beat Horoya? Yes, it's not easy, no. Do I have the team to beat Horoya? Yes, we are playing in Pretoria, the goal is there, it is coming, 20 minutes, it's there, might not be 20 minutes as I say but at the end, we have to win," Mosimane told the media after the game on Saturday.
"We have to do what we have to do, it is not going to be easy but we survive," he added.
Sundowns will welcome Horoya to the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Tuesday, August 28 in a must win encounter for the Brazilians.
