Mamelodi Sundowns May Still Have A Few Injury Concerns Ahead Of Their CAF Champions League Clash

Mamelodi Sundowns may have a few injury concerns as they prepare for their CAF Champions League opening fixture.

After the international break gets draws to a close this week, Sundowns will be boosted by some of their key players returning to the club.

The likes of Hlompho Kekana, Lebohang Maboe and Denis Onyango will make their way back to the Chloorkop this week, however, it seems that one of these players could be returning with an injury.

As reported earlier today, Hlompho Kekana appears to have picked up a slight knock, which may keep him out of action this evening.

In addition, Sundowns will hope for a full return to action from Andile Jali, following his hamstring injury he picked up last weekend, however, the club is yet to issue a full report on the player.

The Brazilians also have Aubrey Ngoma currently nursing a groin injury, while Anthony Laffor and Cuthbert Malajila are still out of action with knee injuries.

Now, it remains to be seen whether the likes of Jali and Kekana will return to full fitness when Sundowns travel away to face Leones Vegetarianos in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League on November 27.
